Sub:Reduction of Validity period for Presenting Cheques for Clearance
Dear Clients,

With reference to the above mentioned subject, we would like to draw your attention towards the new time limit specified by RBI for the purpose of presenting cheques for payment. RBI vide its circular no: RBI/2011 – 12/251 dated November, 2011 has reduced the time limit for presenting cheques/drafts/pay orders/ banker's cheques for their clearance from a period of Six Months to Three Months from the date of such instruments with effect from1st April 2012.
Hence, you are requested to kindly abide by the above mentioned circular by presenting all your cheques for payment issued by the Company within three months from their dates to avoid any kind of inconvenience with respect to their clearance.
