Shares of Gaja Alternative Asset Management fell as much as 3.5 percent on Thursday even as the company's total income rose 27 percent in the June quarter of the current fiscal.

The shares settled at Rs 155.33 per share on the NSE, down 2.12 percent.

The company's total income rose nearly 27 percent to Rs 52 crore in the first quarter of 2026-27, compared with Rs 41 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

The income for Q1 FY27 grew 148 percent QoQ from Rs 21 crore.

The company has declared a final dividend of 15 percent (Rs 0.75 per share) for the Financial Year 2025-26.

Meanwhile, profit after tax rose 35 percent to Rs 27 crore in the June quarter from Rs 20 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

This was the company's first result after its shares were listed on the exchanges in August 2026.

Shares of Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates under the Gaja Capital brand, were listed at Rs 185 per share on the NSE on August 26, a premium of 15.63 percent over the issue price.
