NBCC sell 1046 unit for Rs 2353cr

NBCC share price surged 5 percent in March 19 trade after the state-owned firm sold 1,046 residential units in Noida for Rs 2,353 crore. NBCC will get marketing fee at 1 percent of sale value, the company said in an exchange filing.

"NBCC (India) Limited has successfully sold 1,046 residential units at Aspire Centurian Park, Greater Noida (W), U.P through an e-auction at total sale value of approx. Rs. 2,353 crores," the company said in an exchange filing.

Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd surged 5.22 percent to an intraday high of Rs 83.89 per share on the NSE. The counter settled at Rs 83.23 apiece, up 4.39 percent. The scrip has been gaining for the last three days and is up 7.32 percent in the period.

A day earlier, the company received an order worth Rs 44.62 crore from Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialisation (MGIRI), Wardha. The company is project management consultant (PMC) for the construction & development of infrastructure at MGIRI and Hostel & VIP Guest House at MGIRI, Wardha to be undertaken under EPC mode.

Earlier, the company on February 12 received orders from the Government of Mizoram for planning, designing and implementing three hydro projects. These include building a dam on the River Mat, a multipurpose rainwater harnessing dam in Champhai district and a dual mini-dam at Vantawng, Thenzaw.
