Trump outlines Iran plan

US President Donald Trump said the United States will work closely with Iran following what he described as a “very productive regime change,” signalling a possible shift in Washington’s approach following the announcement of a 14-day ceasefire.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump asserted that Iran would no longer pursue uranium enrichment and claimed that US forces would oversee the removal of deeply buried nuclear material, referring to it as “Nuclear ‘Dust.’” He added that the sites have remained under constant satellite surveillance since the strikes and that no material has been moved.

Trump also indicated progress on broader negotiations, saying discussions on tariff and sanctions relief are underway. According to him, several elements of a proposed agreement have already been finalised, with “many of the 15 points” agreed upon.

Trump also warned that any country supplying military weapons to Iran would face immediate economic consequences from Washington. “A Country supplying Military Weapons to Iran will be immediately tariffed, on any and all goods sold to the United States of America, 50%, effective immediately. There will be no exclusions or exemptions!” he said.
