Seven companies, including Jio Platforms, Paras Healthcare, and Bharat PET among seven companies have received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to go ahead with their IPO plans. The capital markets regulator have also given thumbs up to the IPO proposals of Sadbhav Futuretech, M K Sons Fine Jewels, Paramotor Digital Technology, and Pushp Brand (India).

Bharat PET, Sadbhav Futuretech, Paramotor Digital Technology, M K Sons Fine Jewels, Jio Platforms, Paras Healthcare, and Pushp Brand (India) have approached the SEBI with their IPO documents during March to June period of this year.

The capital markets regulator has issued its observations on the draft document of Paras Healthcare on August 24, Paramotor Digital Technology on August 25, Bharat PET on August 26, and Pushp Brand (India) on August 27, while the observations on the IPO papers of M K Sons Fine Jewels, Sadbhav Futuretech, and Jio Platforms have been issued on August 28, as per the processing status of draft offer documents published for the week ended August 28.

In SEBI parlance, the issuance of observations means the company is allowed to launch its IPO fund raising plan with the next one year in case of regular filing, while the company that files draft documents via confidential route gets 18-month window to float the IPO in the market.

Jio Platforms (JPL), the technology company and a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, is looking to raise funds through an entirely fresh issue of 27 crore equity shares, with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component. This means the entire issue proceeds will accrue to the company.

The company has proposed to utilise Rs 27,500 crore of the net IPO proceeds to repay certain debt, with the remaining funds earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, served 52.44 crore customers through its telecom network in India as of March 2026. JPL brings together mobile, fixed broadband and digital services on a unified platform, along with data and customer-personalisation capabilities.
