HCLTech Q2 profit flat at Rs 4235 cr

IT firm HCLTech on October 13 reported flat net profit at Rs 4,235 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025.


The firm's revenue rose 11 percent to Rs 31,942 crore in Q2FY26 as against Rs 28,862 crore in Q2FY25. Sequentially, revenue grew by 5.2 percent while net profit surged 10.17 percent.

Operating margin came in at 17.5 percent, expanding 120 bps sequentially.

HCLTech has retained its revenue growth guidance for FY26 at 3-5 percent YoY in constant currency, while Ebit margin or operating margin is expected to be in 17-18 percent range for the full year.

The Noida-headquartered IT major reported net headcount addition for the quarter was around 3,489 taking the total people count to 226,640. HCLTech added 5,196 freshers in Q2.

TCV (New Deal wins) came in at $2.56 billion, up 41.8 percent QoQ and 15.8 percent YoY.

“A standout quarter on every front — marked by strong execution, growing demand for our AI-powered solutions, and Advanced AI revenue exceeding $100 million this quarter. Our revenue grew 2.4% sequentially in constant currency with a strong recovery of operating margin to 17.5%. For the first time, our new bookings surpassed $2.5 billion, without reliance on any mega-deal. We added 3,489 people to our employee base while continuing to increase our revenue per employee 1.8% YoY aligned with our AI growth strategy," said C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech.

The company declared interim dividend of Rs 12 per share.
